    Mortenson is searching for an Assistant Equipment Facility Manager who will partner with the Senior Equipment Facility Manager to provide support and leadership within the Energy and Infrastructure Equipment Facility. This position is located in our Golden Valley, MN corporate office.

    • Achieve financial objectives by monitoring monthly billing, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
    • Understanding of construction project contract types, opportunities, constraints and requirements
    • Asset management knowledge to include utilization, life cycle and market trends
    • Fleet vehicle management to include contracts, insurance and tracking
    • Establish equipment maintenance program for all owned assets
    • Monitor and update drivers on current DOT regulations
    • Lead department initiatives to include development, training and support
    • Support innovation by encouraging new equipment development


    • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical services
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction equipment industry
    • Proven success managing a team of 3 or more employees
    • Knowledge of construction equipment and materials
    • Understanding of business financials with experience overseeing profit and loss
    • Effective communication both verbal and written
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize based on work load
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Valid US Driver’s License with clean driving record
