    M.A. Mortenson Company has a full-time opportunity for a Director of Strategy at our office in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

    Responsibilities

    The Director of Strategy leads in the discovery of new markets and partners, develops select opportunities, actively participates in various corporate-wide initiatives, and applies structured problem solving to a variety of business issues.

    Qualifications

    The position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field and five (5) years of related experience in business. This position also requires three (3) years of experience in a business strategy, marketing insights, and/or business development role; two (2) years of experience with each of the following: (1) performing strategy development within an organization related to a specific market and/or product; (2) structuring and performing analysis to evaluate strategic options, including financial modeling and analysis; and (3) conducting industry, channel, market, and competitive research and analysis; and one (1) year of experience with each of the following: (1) performing product management within a business-to-business environment. Position requires domestic travel up to 25%. All experience may have been gained concurrently. Employer will accept experience gained before, during, or after Master's program.
