    Position Objective:

    Consistent execution of marketing and business development strategies/goals to deliver best in class proposals, collateral and content.

    Responsibilities

    The Marketing Coordinator will report to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for managing and completing non-routine tasks and complex project proposals while supporting all marketing and communications efforts for the Sports + Entertainment Group including remote projects teams.

     

    Strategic yet outside-the-box thinking; resourcefulness; self-starting work habits; creativity in problem solving based on information and judgment.

     

    Responsibility Overview:

    • Leads the entire pursuit (proposal and interview) process:
      • Initiates and leads kick-off and coordination meetings
      • Establishes production schedule
      • Maintains action item list and coordinates the efforts of the pursuit team in the development of proposal content
      • Write, edit, and verify content as needed
      • Ensures all technical aspects of the proposal are up-to-date and accurate and that all RFP requirements have been met
      • Create new eye-catching layouts on a project-by-project basis with concisely formatted proposal content
      • Coordinates final production and delivery
    • Creates/designs and brochures, presentations, posters, invitations, e-blasts, etc.
    • Manages the group’s social media platforms
    • Assists in developing content to support the group’s overall marketing strategy
    • Coordinates presence at events such as trade shows, conferences, conventions, etc.
    • Coordinates and prepares project, company, and team member award submissions
    • Maintains marketing and business development file structure and CRM system updates

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

        • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
        • Excellent interpersonal skills
        • Outstanding writing and editing skills (grammar, spelling, proofing, conciseness, etc.)
        • Works well under pressure / deadlines in teaming / collaborative environments
        • Flexible with the ability to change direction or course of action on a moments notice
        • Graphic capability, creative
        • Attention to detail and accuracy, results-oriented
        • Ability to juggle multiple assignments—and do each one well and in detail
        • Experience with CRM applications
        • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
        • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

     

     

     

    Education / Years of Experience

    • Degree in Marketing Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, English, or related field.

     

    • 2-4 years of related experience in the architectural, engineering or construction industry preferred
