    The Digital Marketing Manager leads in the development, management and execution of the company website for all business units. Success requires thorough knowledge of the functional areas involved, the competitive environment, leading digital marketing practices within the industries, and familiarity with the goals and objectives of the business units. This position will partner closely with business units to understand clearly the business unit needs, customer insights, competitive landscape and define online solutions as well as user experience design to achieve business objectives.

     

    Key Performance Objectives: 

    1. Oversee web content management platform, new marketing automation approaches, and analytics: Understand the three distinct paths we use to win work along with the customer goals and of each of our 12 operating groups and develop smart strategies that will improve the ‘customer’s journey.
    2. Be an expert practitioner of our Content Management System: Partner, guide & coach our operating groups to develop & improve content. Manage all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategies. There will also be an opportunity to lead the upcoming CMS upgrade.
    3. Manage relationships with strategic partners to ensure success: With several functions outsourced, you will manage those vendors to ensure success. (graphic design & basic web support.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee web content management, marketing automation, and analytics
    • Be an expert practitioner of our content management system
    • Oversee CMS upgrade and manage all internal communication regarding the upgrade
    • Manage all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategies
    • Collect and assimilate customer data to guide user experience
    • Be an excellent storyteller with the ability to translate sophisticated and complex technical features into clear, compelling, and memorable stories of end customer value by audience type
    • Partner with key stakeholders within each business unit to understand business needs and achieve objectives
    • Analyze business, marketing and digital performance across services, markets, audiences, and channels to understand what is working and what is not in order to drive optimization recommendations
    • Effectively communicate technical material and analytics to internal team
    • Manage existing vendor relationships and the development of new partnerships
    • Advance the organization’s digital orientation by leading and participating in select projects that improve our digital marketing success rate, expand our digital marketing universe and improve our overall marketing leverage across the enterprise
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption, where appropriate.
    • Partner closely with cross functional teams from all business units

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years in Digital Marketing
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
    • In-depth knowledge of web content management and marketing automation systems
    • Previous experience in web platform integration and/or overseeing a major upgrade
    • Hands-on experience in managing digital media platforms and partners
    • Experience resolving technical issues and engaging in thoughtful conversations with internal team members
    • Experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
    • Proven SEO experience
    • Google Analytics Certification (preferred)
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
