    The Big Picture:

    Mortenson Wind Energy Group is seeking an experienced Scheduling Engineer to develop and support project planning and scheduling activities throughout project life-cycle.




    Provide input on planning and scheduling activities

    • Develop, support, coordinate and supervise planning and scheduling activities
    • Ensure that corporate planning and schedule standards are implemented and that all project related activities comply


    Provide oversight and supervision of project and pre-construction team members

    • Coach, mentor, and train field team members
    • Establish and nurture teamwork environment
    • Ensure crews have resources and support
    • Provide work direction and performance evaluations
    • Develop leadership potential through appropriate task assignments and career growth opportunities
    • Implement Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety Program at project site


    Other duties as assigned

    • Maintain positive relationships with fellow team members, trade partners and customers
    • Provide suggestions for improvement to project schedules


    What do you need to succeed?


    • Strong CPM scheduling techniques and construction planning
    • ASTA scheduling and wind construction knowledge a plus
    • Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
    • Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project schedules
    • Possess logistical understanding of construction flow
    • Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
    • Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
    • Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies


    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Minimum seven years construction scheduling or equivalent experience
    • Professional Engineer registration or advanced degree desired
    • Current driver’s license
    • Overnight travel of up to 30% may be necessary to fulfill the objectives of the position
